This privacy policy is for the Safeplace 24 system and governs the privacy of its users. The policy covers what information is collected, stored and how it is used.
The following should hopefully provide all of the information you need about Safeplace 24 in an easy-to-understand format. Ensure you read it fully before you start using it. By using this website or any of our apps you are agreeing to everything below, including but not limited to how Safeplace 24 works, and what information may be collected and stored.
We take the security of data and communication very seriously and ensure everything is suitably protected in a way which complies to all UK national laws and requirements for user privacy. All communication with the website is encrypted using an SSL certificate (2048bit SHA-256 With RSA Encryption) and performed over HTTPS. It scores Grade A status on Qualys SSL Labs.
The Safeplace 24 apps do not collect, store or share any information with us or third parties (other than the required communication between the user and the relevant app store). We want the app to be entirely usable by anyone in any location, whether they have access to the internet or not. This is why the app does not communicate with our servers at all and can run completely stand-alone. This also makes it appropriate for children to install and use.
As with all websites, access to this site is logged to help keep it secure and monitor usage to ensure that the site is functioning properly and efficiently. We do not collect any personal information from users and do not require a login in order to use the basic features.
We do embed Google Maps on this website, which has it's own privacy policies here:
